Final Video

On day two of building our rockets we had decided to change our idea up just a bit. We had decided to go wit h a little smaller of a bottle. We got our fins all placed on everything fit really good, so know we have to wait and see until tommorow to seehow high or far our rocket will go.

Design & Construction

Today we started making our rockets in science. My partner brought in two bottles to use and we used the 1 liter. We started by duck taping the bottle and adding the nose to it but we removed it because it wasn't working. Then we started adding the fins which make the bottle more aerodynamic so it could go far and high. The bad part is that they seemed to keep falling off which was funny at first but after the second time it got annoying. So for the most part we are well on our way to making our rockets.;)

initial observations

I think that the bottle's were awsome when the flew and I was surprised when the empty bottle flew so high. The 2 liter bottle when it was full didn't go to far. The 2 liter bottle when it was half-full it whent really high and spun in the air. When it was a quarter full it spun and went higher than the half full. I think that the bottle rockets are going to be fun to lunch and build.
